TV Adverts – Ladies + Plate Day

THE IDEA

Using footage we’d previously captured at raceday events, create a couple of exciting videos to use as TV and VOD adverts to increase ticket sales of their two most popular events of the year – Ladies Day and Northumberland Plate Day.

THEIR STORY

Located within High Gosforth Park, Newcastle Racecourse is home to the historic Northumberland Plate, and is one of Britain’s busiest racecourses, hosting over 60 all-weather and jumps fixtures a year.

THE SOLUTION

We had the luxury of a huge library of footage that we’d captured across the previous 2 years of events.  This made our job so much easier to find the most appealing and exciting shots and compile these into a video to promote each of Ladies Day and Northumberland Plate Day.

 

We sourced a suitable engaging voiceover artist for each video, making sure their delivery would resonate with the intended audience.  It was also up to us to ensure that the finished videos were supplied exactly to specification (both in terms of content and technical formats) and were compliant with the relevant authorities and cleared for broadcast use.

THE RESULTS ARE IN

The adverts were served to over 100,000 viewers and the Racecourse was able to report on an increase in traffic to their website and social media following showing of these adverts – and consequently a series of spikes in ticket sales which was the intended outcome!
